About The Position

An Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing inventory levels by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper storage and conducting regular stock checks to help maintain inventory levels. The Inventory Specialist will collaborate with technicians and other team members to confirm that all parts required for designated projects are properly gathered and accounted for. Additional tasks related to shipping and receiving via various carriers will be part of the daily routine.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • High attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

  • Experience with UPS Worldship

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the building is opened on time daily
  • Verifying stock levels and restocking as needed
  • Perform quarterly inventory counts
  • Receive, store, and distribute equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the stockroom and WIP cage are organized and easily accessible
  • Receive physical inventory; prepare and allocate inventory parts of designated projects using an established coding system
  • Notify receiving parties regarding job-specific inventory arriving
  • Process requests to the warehouse that are specific to picking jobs and minor ordering of parts
  • Process returns, repairs and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) promptly via UPS and FedEx
  • Document shipments in the project system, including documentation of who was issued the equipment
  • Assist with customizing, retrofitting, and painting parts for distribution
  • Review missed expected date report and submit to Inventory Supervisor
  • Assist technicians, sales representatives, and other staff on job readiness and equipment support
  • Perform routine warehouse maintenance to reduce chances of accidents or malfunctions, including cleaning floors and replacing parts, such as lightbulbs
