Merchology seeks an Inventory Specialist for our Receiving team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Inventory Specialist is a critical role that specializes in picking orders and maintaining inventory accuracy. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES A successful Inventory Specialist will: Receive inventory using Merchology’s processes, inventory and ERP systems. Perform cycle counts within ShipHawk. Safely operate order picker equipment. Print orders to pick and pack using scanners. Ability to work independently at times throughout the day. Ability to give directions to other team members. Ability to implement ideas and processes to improve efficiency. Understanding of equipment and process knowledge to troubleshoot intermediate level order issues. Count and inspect all products related to the work order. Communicate between departments in the company through HubSpot and emails. Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to drive a dock truck for pickup and delivery
  • Ability to stand for 5-8 hours per day
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
  • Positive attitude and collaborative
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, especially Excel.
  • Ability to identify colors and shades
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to respect and follow Merchology’s core values while working toward company goals.

  • Experience working in a warehouse setting
