Inventory Specialist
About The Position
Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Inventory Specialist. This full-time position will join the team at Visionary Broadband, a division of Visionary Communications, Inc., one of the top service providers in the Rocky Mountain region. The position will be based out of Cheyenne, WY. Job Overview: Visionary Broadband, a successful Internet company, needs an experienced Inventory Clerk in Gillette, WY to help with inventory control processes. Visionary has many outlying inventory locations. This employee would be responsible for getting accurate inventory counts weekly, and keeping the warehouses stocked. The successful candidate will need to be or become familiar with the internet market and have exceptional math and observational skills. We are looking for someone who takes his or her responsibilities seriously and values accuracy in his or her work.
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience in inventory or related field
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
- Process receipts and issues of materials to individuals and job locations
- Create and manage purchase orders for materials in support of inventory and company operations
- Communicate with other departments to determine material needs and job timelines
- Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact job productivity
