About The Position

The Inventory Specialist supports supply chain services at Grady by maintaining appropriate inventory levels in assigned areas, accurately picking and staging supply orders, completing scheduled inventory counts, and ensuring deliveries match receipts and documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working in both office and warehouse settings, and a consistent customer-service mindset.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 6 months experience in a related position; healthcare or supply chain experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service
Ability to work reliably on an overnight schedule, including every other weekend

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a materials management system is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain adequate levels of supplies in all assigned areas, including stocking, restocking, and staging orders for delivery
Conduct physical inventory counts of supply cabinets and warehouse inventory as scheduled
Audit deliveries against receipts and documentation to ensure accuracy
Operate materials management systems to assess inventory levels, transaction history, and pending orders
Perform maintenance, exchange, and transport activities for specialty carts such as code carts, surgical carts, and respiratory boxes
Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding supply chain services, schedules, and requisitions
Assist with mail preparation, book binding, laminating, and other finishing services as needed
