Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing is seeking an Inventory Specialist-Weekend shift to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position will support the manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components. Overtime may be needed as required by business demands. Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma/GED with 1-3 years of relevant inventory control experience.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work with department leadership to contribute to strategic planning and long-term
  • Candidates must be a resident of the Northern Alabama area or willing to relocate to the area
  • This is a weekend shift position Fri-Sun.
  • Regular attendance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Costpoint experience preferred.
  • Windchill experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cycle counting.
  • Stocking/tracking of components.
  • Fulfilling requests for materials.
  • Performing inventory actions using corporate accounting software.
  • Assembling of kits for manufacturing, delivery and pickup of material.
  • Component serialization/marking.
  • Supporting materials audits, material handling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Move materials to and from production areas as needed to assist production flow and needs.
