About The Position

In charge of ordering, receiving and counting all types of products for the organization. Responsible for ensuring that inventory records are accurate. Work with and prepare products being shipped to customers and properly log all receipts to ensure accurate inventory counts. In some cases, will be in charge of preparing orders and related documents to purchase additional items or stock. This position performed in a factory \/ warehouse setting. Heavy lifting, as well as constant movement throughout the warehouse and production floor, is generally required.

Requirements

• Inventory Specialist must be able to multitask and keep up in a fast\-paced work environment.
• Inventory specialist needs to work well in a team setting, as well as on their own with minimal supervision.
• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the field.
• Must possess proficiency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Be able to quickly perform basic math (such as in preparing counts).
• Strong team player.
• Have excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• ERP software experience (not a requirement but a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor warehouse transactions.
• Track inventory maintenance and control product flow: in, out and throughout organization.
• Submit reports, ensure financial standards, and resolve issues.
• Act as liaison between the warehouse, production and customer service.
