About The Position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity within the Pacific Sales Kitchen and Home department. This role involves accurate shipping and receiving of products, processing will call products, and ensuring the organization of the warehouse. The Inventory Specialist also plays a significant role in merchandising by managing product movement on and off the sales floor and is cross-trained in customer service to assist with customer orders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • 1 year of inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or Bachelor degree or above in Technical or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Enable all aspects of inventory integrity by scanning incoming shipments from the distribution center and transferring products to distribution centers.
  • Prepare floor stock products for pick up or shipments, including continuous lifting of 35-70 lb. packages with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Review and reconcile unaccounted reports to ensure inventory integrity and monitor the warehouse regularly to keep inventory levels current.
  • Ensure proper merchandising, installation, and pricing for customers.
  • Lead safety initiatives within the store location, including completion of the monthly safety checklist.
  • Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate processing for all Pacific Sales customer transactions.
  • Prepare the store for annual physical inventory to ensure proper execution.
