The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy within a citrus manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for conducting routine and on-demand cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and supporting traceability and quality assurance in compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Independently manage inventory cycle count program in SAP as well as other inventory related activities.
  • Operation of forklift, weigh scales and drum handling required.
  • Audit inventory discrepancies, storage bins and procedures in order to provide continuous improvement opportunities to management team.
  • Coordinate and lead our waste management program.
  • Organize, consolidate material, and load shipments.
  • Ensure all SAP data entry, spreadsheets, and documentation are accurately maintained for traceability and internal control systems.
  • Follow all SOP related to all job tasks needed to execute duties while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment following food safety standards.
  • Associates degree required with a minimum 3 years experience in inventory management and chemical manufacturing/food GMP environment.
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to communicate effectively across different stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold).
  • Comfortable working with odor(s) in and around the manufacturing environment.
  • Must have the ability to operate a forklift; 1-2 years experience with forklift preferred.
  • Able to wear PPE for warehouse and working with chemicals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods is necessary.
