About The Position

The Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting the Inventory Supervisor and Lead in the accurate maintenance of Tommy Bahama on hand inventory. Follows FTZ inventory compliance regulations in regard to inventory movements. BE THE ISLAND GUIDE Perform daily cycle counts and audits. Meet minimum productivity standards for inventory cycle count and move processes. Perform daily RTS. Perform daily moves and casing out of inventory to ensure availability of open bins and flow racks. Assist in the execution of seasonal physical inventory. Ensure shelving, labeling and product location standards are maintained. Assist in research and reconciliation of ZZSHORT, ZZCASE and 098 locations within 30 days. Perform general housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse work areas. Monitor warehouse floor and shelving for mis-located product, push in pick bins, make new bins or labels for any that are damaged, etc. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience in Apparel Industry, preferably in Operations Dept.
  • Inventory control experience in any industry, preferably the Apparel Industry
  • FTZ inventory business experience desirable
  • RF experience desirable
  • Ability to frequently lift and or move up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently bend/stoop/kneel and/or twist as required.
  • Ability to routinely stand up to approximately 7 hours per day as required
  • Ability to walk up to 5 miles per shift as required
