About The Position

The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and tracking cannabis inventory within the cultivation and production phases. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can perform regular audits, reconcile inventory data, and ensure compliance with state regulations. The specialist will collaborate with department managers to support the daily tracking of plant and product movement, optimize efficiencies, and troubleshoot reporting inaccuracies.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory tracking software in a cannabis, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related field.
• Demonstrated advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in data entry and mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standard operating procedures, checklists, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory information for cannabis products in the Cultivation and/or Production phases.
• Partner with Department Managers in Cultivation and/or Production to support daily tracking of plant and product movement.
• Manage multiple reporting avenues to track productivity and output, including spreadsheets and business workflows.
• Report all necessary inventory and product information in compliance with state laws and regulations.
• Support the plant and product testing program as required by the business.
• Collaborate with other Inventory personnel to ensure all targets and deadlines are understood and achieved on time.
• Troubleshoot reporting inaccuracies and report to Leadership in a timely manner.
• Seek ways to optimize efficiencies in Departments for data entry and tracking.
• Comply with all documented security procedures and safeguard inventory against diversion.
