Starting Pay: $17.50 an hour Monday - Friday : 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Available to work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Prior experience with Excel, Outlook, NetSuite, and/or Deposco preferred
- Forklift certification desirable (Turret, Sit-down)
Responsibilities
- Evaluates damaged item packaging and determines suitability for use elsewhere.
- Repackages, sorts, organizes, and consolidates damaged inventory.
- Ensures all damaged items staging areas in all warehouses are cleared out each day.
- Maintains sufficient levels of repackaging materials and records item quantities correctly in Deposco.
- Pulls MISC or special orders from Damaged Inventory when requested.
- Assists Retail Store with stocking.
- Stages good inventory for movement to LTL or E-commerce, as necessary.
- Strives to have all repackageable inventory processed and transferred back into ‘good’ inventory.
- Participates in damaged disposition and pending obsolete initiatives.
- Breaks down and palletizes empty boxes for disposal and keeps the damaged area organized and clear of trash.
- Assists with cycle counts in the Damaged area.
- Works with the material handlers to reduce the number of damaged items caused by employees.
- Counts retail store.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
