About The Position

Are you an independent, customer-focused professional with a knack for inventory management and a desire to get out on the road? As an Inventory Solutions Fulfillment Specialist, you’ll utilize a company-issued vehicle to travel to customer facilities to support and maintain on-site inventory through our SupplyRITE™ Inventory Solutions program. You’ll manage our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs at customer facilities to ensure optimal stock levels, accurate labeling, and seamless product availability, playing a key role in the success of our customers’ operations. This role combines fieldwork at customer sites with remote work from home, giving you the flexibility to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative team. Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (day travel) for customer visits, internal collaboration, and industry events, primarily regionally across Idaho, as well as opportunities to visit other regions of the U.S.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and hold all required documentation for domestic air travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: 1+ years’ experience in customer service or sales-related position preferred.
  • Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory and inventory management software, as well as related experience, is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels at customer sites, including product movement, put-away, labeling, and cleanup of shipping materials.
  • Generate suggested orders based on preset VMI program parameters and current stock levels.
  • Ensure product availability and accuracy through labeling, quantity checks, and collaboration with internal teams to address customer needs.
  • Execute all SupplyRITE™ activities on-site with a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot issues independently, apply sound judgment, and escalate concerns as needed to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry products and services to support quoting, ordering, and problem-solving.
  • Support vending machine functionality and product staging, labeling, and organization as required.
  • Provide on-site training and demonstrations of inventory solutions to customers.
  • Document site activities, collect inventory data, and participate in new project implementations or procedure development.
  • Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to confirm account status, identify improvement opportunities, and expand service offerings.
  • Maintain confidentiality through NDA compliance and represent Nelson-Jameson with professionalism at all times.
  • Follow assigned travel routes and perform other duties as assigned.
