Summary The Inventory Reduction Analyst will support inventory management and supply chain operations on a short-term basis (3-6 months). This role focuses on analyzing current inventory on hand, specifically slow moving obsolete (SLOB), for opportunity throughout the business to convert to revenue or dispose of. The Inventory Reduction Analyst will work cross functionally to establish an action plan exhausting all possible strategies to convert inventory to revenue or propose an alternative route. They will also be responsible for implementing the appropriate disposition method.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or it's equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory analysis or supply chain roles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros would be a plus).
  • Basic Power BI experience is required.
  • Team player with strong computer, written, verbal and skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pulling together and leading a team to accomplish business goals.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work on short-term projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Independence: Operate with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results.
  • Impact Focus: Drive measurable improvements in inventory management and visibility during the contract period.
  • On site 5 days a week.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lean/Kaizen methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Run inventory reports weekly and monthly.
  • Generate inventory dashboard for management review.
  • Support cycle counts and audits as required by project timelines.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Planning teams on inventory strategy.
  • Contribute to SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) initiatives during contract period.
  • Support process improvement projects, including Kaizen activities, as assigned.
