Inventory Receiving Associate- Day Shift

Every person here is valued, and we work hard to make Shabby Fabrics a place people love to come to every day. As a receiving associate, you will learn all of our receiving and inventory processes. You will receive shipments, perform inventory counts, update the inventory system, and deliver goods to the correct department. You will carefully audit shipments ensuring accuracy against packing slips and invoicing, communicating discrepancies to vendors. You will assist with packaging and shipping orders to customers and distributors. You will also be trained in many warehouse duties that include: Measuring and cutting fabric with a rotary cutter. Collating which consists of the production of kits and other products. Ensure the accuracy and quality of products and packaging. Perform order fulfillment as well as shipping and receiving duties when needed.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to distinguish between colors
- Basic math skills
Responsibilities
