About The Position

The Shipping Inventory Receiver plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of tested inventory within the warehouse. This team member will focus on receiving tested and approved medical devices from the Testing Department, preparing them for the Shipping area. The role requires strong organizational skills, inventory awareness, and the ability to replenish low stock levels efficiently. This individual plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that only clean, tested items are placed into the shipping-ready area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse or inventory-related roles preferred.
  • Strong memory and attention to detail when handling inventory items.
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain structured inventory locations.
  • Physically able to lift/move products and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer software.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong accountability.
  • Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with medical devices or regulated inventory.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Understanding inventory systems and replenishment logic.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all tested and approved medical devices from the Testing department.
  • Clean and prepare items for sale before they are placed on inventory shelves.
  • Ensure all products are labeled, organized, and stored correctly in designated locations.
  • Monitor physical stock levels in the shipping area and proactively replenish low inventory.
  • Work closely with the Shipping and Inventory teams to ensure daily order needs are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping inventory staging area.
  • Verify and document quantities received from Testing and match them against internal transfer logs.
  • Communicate any discrepancies, delays, or concerns to the Inventory or Testing leads.
  • Assist in cycle counts and spot checks of inventory accuracy in the shipping area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, compliant warehouse environment.
