Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma, 3-5 years’ experience in distribution business with 2+ years purchasing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment.
  • Strong self-starting experience and ability to excel in independent work environment.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for occasional meetings, audits, and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Supply Chain and Branch Managers in maintaining inventory to support their operations in branch inventory levels for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze inventory and market trends, proactively scheduling replenishment and purchase orders.
  • Oversee costs and address AP to PO issues.
  • Prevent excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Handle data entry and system inquiries.
  • Ensure timely supplier follow-ups on orders and deliveries.
  • Meet or exceed Inventory Report metrics with effective management.
