About The Position

Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce brand dedicated to creating premium products for parents and infants. With a strong presence on Amazon and Shopify and an annual revenue of €14 million , we are transitioning from a successful Italian-based team of 20 to a truly international operation. As we scale, we are looking for a meticulous analyst to bridge the gap between our physical stock and our financial data. As our Inventory Planning and Operations Analyst , you will be the "source of truth" for our business. This is a critical cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Supply Chain, Finance, and Data . Your mission is to ensure that every unit of inventory is accounted for, every forecast is data-driven, and our P&L reflects the reality of our operations. You won’t just be tracking numbers; you’ll be building the operational backbone that allows us to expand globally.

Requirements

  • E-commerce Specialist: You have a proven track record in inventory management or operations, specifically within the e-commerce ecosystem (Amazon/Shopify experience is a huge plus).
  • Systems Expert: You are proficient in Excel (advanced formulas/modeling) and have hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally QuickBooks and Katana .
  • Analytical Rigor: You have a "detective" mindset. You enjoy spotting discrepancies in large datasets and won't stop until the numbers balance.
  • Financial Literacy: You understand how inventory movements translate to financial statements and sales reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Remote Veteran: Experience working effectively within remote-first, international teams.
  • Optimization Mindset: A background in process improvement or experience collaborating with software developers to build internal tools.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Integrity: Lead the reconciliation of inventory data across our tech stack ( QuickBooks, Katana, Amazon, and Shopify ) to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Strategic Planning: Analyze inventory levels against sales forecasts to prevent stockouts and overstock, optimizing our working capital.
  • Financial Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with the Admin/Finance team to support monthly P&L analysis and financial reporting.
  • Process Engineering: Evaluate our current ERP procedures and identify opportunities to automate or optimize workflows for better efficiency.
  • Data Audit: Conduct regular deep-dives into operational data to spot discrepancies and resolve root causes before they impact the bottom line.
  • Technical Support: Provide operational insights to help shape internal coding solutions and tools for better inventory management.

Benefits

  • Global Growth: Be part of a brand scaling from a regional leader to an international household name.
  • Direct Impact: Reporting directly to the CFO, your work will immediately influence the company's financial health and strategic decisions.
  • Remote Flexibility: Work from the comfort of your home while staying aligned with our core European team.
