About The Position

Inventory Analytics & Optimization (Epicor) Analyze inventory performance by branch, line, and SKU. Track fill rates, turns, stock‑outs, backorders, and excess/obsolete inventory. Maintain segmentation, order points, and min/max settings. Identify root causes of stock‑outs, overstocks, and forecast gaps. Support redeployment, returns, and inventory exit strategies. Product, Line & Supplier Analysis Assess product and supplier performance across sales, margin, velocity, and lifecycle. Support new line launches, SKU expansion, and rationalization. Track supplier programs, rebates, pricing, and volume/special buys. Report savings and program effectiveness. Business & Branch Performance Evaluate branch performance tied to inventory availability, service, and sales mix. Support project/BOM inventory needs and large contractor jobs. Align stocking strategies with customer demand. Provide insights for pricing, margin, and working‑capital improvements. Reporting, Dashboards & Data Integrity Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Epicor Eclipse, Excel, and BI tools. Ensure accuracy of item master, supplier, and transaction data. Automate recurring reporting for Buyers and leadership. Deliver ad‑hoc analysis for executive reviews and supplier meetings. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Buyers, Category Managers, Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT. Translate Epicor data into clear, actionable insights. Support monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5+ years in distribution analytics or inventory management
  • Epicor experience
  • Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, formulas)
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
