The Inventory Planner plays a critical role in enabling successful execution of the Inventory Policy by planning and coordinating the manufacturing and distribution of finished goods across the supply network. This position supports production, capacity, and inventory targets by SKU and location, leveraging planning systems, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration. This role offers a strong foundation in planning principles and provides exposure to multiple departments within the Cleaning Business Unit. The Inventory Planner is accountable for executing supply and production plans, maintaining production schedules with internal and external manufacturers, and managing escalations related to deviations in production or inventory plans. In this role, you will: Production Planning Develop high-quality supply plans in partnership with the Network Planner, incorporating inventory, production, capacity, and distribution considerations. Achieve annual targets for Total Delivered Cost, inventory levels, and service performance. Facilitate cross-functional discussions to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of supply plans. Service Fulfillment Monitor daily alerts to identify and mitigate risks to service levels. Collaborate with the Network Planner to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Analyze plan performance, identify sources of error, and recommend corrective actions. Communicate potential service disruptions proactively and lead root cause investigations. Analytics & Communication Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics. Conduct root cause analyses and propose solutions to prevent recurrence. Identify trends and opportunities to improve service levels and inventory velocity. Become proficient in data analysis and visualization to effectively communicate insights and recommendations. Build strong relationships with Manufacturing and Supply Chain partners to optimize production cycles. System Maintenance Perform regular reviews of system data and recommend improvements. Escalate system issues and coordinate with IT as needed to resolve them. Personal Development Gain expertise in SAP and Rapid Response planning tools.
