About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and optimizing inventory accuracy, availability, and replenishment across multiple locations to support efficient operations and production continuity. The position oversees cycle count programs, inventory reconciliation between ERP and WMS systems, and ongoing monitoring of inventory levels, safety stock, and stock coverage. By analyzing sales trends, seasonality, and demand variability, the role continuously refines replenishment strategies—particularly for Kanban-managed items—while mitigating risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence. The position also tracks and reports key inventory performance metrics, supports new product launches and end-of-life planning, and drives continuous improvement of inventory policies and planning processes. Success in this role requires strong supply chain and production planning knowledge, effective cross-functionalcollaboration, data-driven decision making, and a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree a plus
  • 2+ years of experience with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System
  • 2+ years of experience with ERP
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros)

Responsibilities

  • Cycle Count Program leadership including completing counts for Poynette and reporting on outside warehouse locations (BCP, SPR)
  • Inventory review and reconciliation between ERP/WMS for inaccurate inventory levels and transactions
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock coverage, and safety stock across locations
  • Maintain inventory replenishments procedures both internally from warehouse to production and inventory transfers off site
  • Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and demand variability to update replenishment strategies for Kanban items.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence
  • Track and report inventory KPIs such as pallet capacity, production shortages, inventory adjustment variances, and RM average weeks on hand
  • Support new product launches and end-of-life planning
  • Continuously improving inventory policies, parameters, and planning processes
  • Work with process engineering and design engineering to correct identified BOM errors.
  • Use ERP and planning systems to manage data accuracy and planning outputs
