About The Position

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Join Project Kuiper's inventory team and support the delivery of satellite material to our engineers as we create and deploy satellites to help bring internet to under-served populations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience using MS excel, able to navigate and interpret data
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds
• Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours

Responsibilities

• Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedule.
• Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor.
• Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts.
• Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
• Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry picker, and hand carts.
