About The Position

The Inventory Order Control Specialist ensures accurate inventory levels and efficient order processing. This role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory, resolving discrepancies, and streamlining order fulfillment processes while working closely with cross-functional teams such as procurement, warehouse, and customer service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or order management roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Effective communication skills for working with diverse teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies in real-time.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to reorder stock as needed, avoiding shortages or overstocking.
  • Review and process incoming orders promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Identify and address errors in order data, product availability, or shipping details.
  • Generate and analyze inventory and order reports to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Use software tools to manage inventory systems and track order status.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, delayed orders, or damaged goods.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address supply chain disruptions.
  • Partner with customer service to address inquiries regarding product availability and delivery timelines.
  • Work with production teams to forecast inventory needs based on historical data and upcoming projects.
