Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Charts.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems (ECC and/or EWM preferred).
  • Proven inventory management experience with strong attention to detail and ownership of quality control.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively and supporting continuous improvement processes
  • Certification or proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate interdepartmentally.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a high level of ownership over process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy across all warehouses, including inside, outside, offsite, and consignment locations, ensuring accuracy levels between 98% and 99.9%.
  • Perform daily cycle counts, audits, and manage inbound inventory flow from internal and external suppliers to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on discrepancies, develop corrective action plans, and apply Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen principles to enhance process efficiency and quality control.
  • Coordinate with distribution management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth material flow, resolve vendor discrepancies, and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and anomalies, prepare and present reports to management and cross-functional teams to support decision-making.
  • Lead and execute the annual physical inventory process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
