About The Position

The Inventory Material Specialist is vital to warehouse operations, responsible for managing materials to ensure accurate stock tracking and order fulfillment. This role involves moving, handling, and storing materials, including loading and unloading from storage areas and delivery trucks. The specialist oversees the full inventory lifecycle-receiving, storing, and distributing products and supplies-while supporting efficient operations through proactive inventory management and teamwork

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow strict policies and procedures
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Basic computer skills including data entry, math, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Must be 21+ and pass all required pre-employment screenings
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory compliance (cannabis industry)
  • Ability to follow instructions and retain training effectively
  • Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
  • Experience in regulated industries (cannabis or similar)
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and tracking tools
  • Experience working in environments with continuous feedback and process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Maintain digital and physical inventory accuracy through regular counts and reconciliations
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while operating equipment and tools
  • Meet production standards with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Properly label and sticker products for organization and traceability
  • Collaborate with vault and operations teams to meet daily production goals
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as needed
  • Verify quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
  • Identify, locate, and organize products during receiving and distribution
  • Perform routine maintenance on material handling equipment
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions when required
  • Support overall warehouse efficiency through proactive inventory management
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workspaces
  • Assist with process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
