About The Position

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of fresh produce to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where product quality and freshness are critical.

Requirements

3+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in the produce or perishable goods industry.
Knowledge of inventory software and ERP systems.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
Excellent organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Maintain real-time inventory records using ERP or warehouse management systems.
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
Implement and manage inventory tracking systems to reduce waste and optimize stock levels.
Oversee incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect produce for quality and compliance with standards.
Supervise receiving processes, verify shipments, and inspect produce for quality and compliance.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve discrepancies or quality issues.
Train and supervise warehouse staff on inventory procedures and best practices.
