About The Position

The Inventory Control Manager will assist Operations Leadership and Operation Peers in assessing inventory inaccuracies and recommending corrective action necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of leadership experience in warehouse inventory control
  • Experience managing a multi-building inventory.
  • Experience managing a multi-shift Inventory team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to perform forensic transactional analysis
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong math and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lead other employees in team environments
  • Highly reliable and great time management abilities.
  • Those typical of standard warehouse conditions.
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing/pulling, and kneeling.
  • Occasionally required to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Must be in good physical condition, strenuous physical exertion occasionally required.
  • Frequent use of seeing, coordination, and hearing abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Camelot WMS and Red Prairie, Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer inventory accuracy and shrink contractual SLA's and reported timely to site leadership
  • Respond to e-mails within and outside the organization regarding inventory-related issues
  • Supervision of all inventory operations through direct observational oversight
  • Participate in Operational meetings to assist with company goals & objectives
  • Running of various inventory-related reports for senior management metrics
  • Responsible for maintaining slot location inventory integrity
  • Ability to be cross-functional working closely with all areas of the warehouse while prioritizing any at risk orders.
  • Overseeing the customer physical inventory audits.
  • Assist in keeping a safe environment - keep work area clean and maintain warehouse aisles.
  • Identify damages and misplaced products
  • Consolidate when necessary
  • Any other tasks as directed by the Director of Operations
