We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated team player to serve as Inventory Manager. The Inventory Manager will oversee all inventory management operations to ensure accurate and efficient processes from receipt to distribution. This role includes managing picking, packing, and manifesting inventory for retail stores, maintaining accurate stock levels in the finished goods vault, and ensuring inventory control across all product types, including both medicated and nonmedicated goods. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing electronic inventory systems, cycle counts, and product movements across the warehouse. This role will work closely with purchasing, receiving, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and availability across the supply chain.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the finished goods vault and across all product types.
  • Oversee cycle counting procedures to verify stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent losses and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and adjustments.
  • Work closely with department managers to improve and streamline inventory movements between processes.
  • Coordinate picking, packing, and manifesting processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for retail stores.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize transportation schedules, packing efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Verify outbound shipments match manifest and meet packaging and labeling standards.
  • Manage inventory movements in the electronic inventory system, ensuring that all entries are timely, accurate, and reflect physical inventory.
  • Utilize the system to generate regular reports on stock levels, turnover, and product demand, providing insights for inventory planning and replenishment.
  • Partner with the purchasing team to manage inventory replenishment, ensuring optimal stock levels of all items to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee the receiving process to verify shipments match purchase orders, meet receiving standard, and ensure proper storage.
  • Ensure that incoming items are properly inspected, tagged, and stored, and that any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Schedule and oversee routine cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and support financial audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent future inconsistencies.
  • Manage and organize warehouse storage and finished goods vault to ensure easy access, orderliness, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Implement storage strategies that optimize space utilization and streamline picking, packing, and replenishment activities.
  • Generate and review inventory reports to monitor stock levels, reorder points, and inventory aging.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization, cost control, and stock rotation based on demand forecasts and consumption trends.
  • Ensure inventory management practices comply with all regulatory and safety requirements, especially concerning medicated and/or controlled products.
  • Maintain secure and controlled access to restricted inventory areas, adhering to company protocols for high-value or sensitive items.
  • Understand and follow all state and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Lead, train, and support the inventory team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with BioTrack, Leaf Logix, MJ Freeway, METRC, Leafly, and Dutchie.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work activity, set and meet goals, and manage workload effectively.
  • Experience with general inspection instruments (ie calipers, micrometer, scales, etc).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements related to medicated cannabis products is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical requirements of the job include: The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Ability to lift/move up to 30lbs if necessary. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
  • 21 years of age or older.
