About The Position

L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking an Inventory Management Support to join our team. This person will be responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of prior inventory experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of inventory related experience

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse organization or stocking experience
• Knowledge of CMMS (Axxerion, Maximo, MVP, etc)
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Purchasing system and/or ERP system experience (Ariba, SAP, Deltek Costpoint, etc)

Responsibilities

• Facilitates shipping, ordering, receiving, and distribution of materials
• Facilitates orderly storage and administration of material inventory
• Operates and maintains various aspects of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) (Axxerion, Maximo, MVP, etc)
• Records material inventory in CMMS
• Completes administration activities in purchasing systems, CMMS, and inventory
• Support maintenance technicians via material requisitions, inventory management, and CMMS activities
• Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement
• Makes recommendations for solutions
• May perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates
• Transport heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification
• Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements
• Capable of acquiring Security Clearance
