About The Position

Requirements

  • Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
  • Must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable.
  • A background investigation will be required for this position.
  • Specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service is required.

Responsibilities

  • Account for all types of equipment, material, and property furnished to the Government. Ensures accountability, inventory, utilization, and disposal of property and conduct inventories and utilization surveys.
  • Assist in resolving problems and oversee maintenance of an automated system of detailed quantitative property records.
  • Manage a supply program of several technical supply functions. Analyze, develop, evaluate, and promote improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, and techniques of a supply activity.
  • Manage or perform the acquisition processes involved in the procurement of supplies, services, construction, ADP, and research and development, using formal advertising, negotiation, evaluation of contract price proposals, contract administration, or termination and close out of contracts.
  • Develop acquisition strategy and plan procurements.
