As an Inventory Management Specialist/Driver at Vendit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our vending services across the greater SF Bay Area. Your primary responsibilities will include managing inventory, pulling and packing orders, and organizing delivery routes for our drivers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption, which are essential for our operational efficiency. Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner is key, as you will address any inquiries regarding refunds and vending issues. Additionally, you may assist with the delivery of machines for new client acquisitions, ensuring that our services are expanded effectively. In this role, you will adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also part of your responsibilities, as it contributes to a safe and efficient working environment. You will follow predetermined routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely service to our customers. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, as well as organizational skills to plan and execute efficient delivery routes. You will be expected to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day, which is a physical aspect of the job that is essential for success.
