About The Position

The Inventory Lot Attendant is responsible for the movement of vehicles throughout the company’s new and used vehicle lots, checking in vehicles, gathering initial photos, checking for damage, among other duties. This position reports directly to the General Sales Manager. This full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position includes the following comprehensive benefits: Medical and life insurance, along with short-term and long-term disability. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matched percentage. Paid vacation and holidays. Five (5) day work week for a healthy work-life balance. Dealerships are closed each Sunday.

Requirements

Superb customer service skills.
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Capability to stand for long hours, as well as the ability to bend, and lift a minimum of twenty-five (25) pounds.
Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Must pass pre- employment background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Compare serial numbers of incoming vehicles against invoices.
Inspect new vehicles to detect damage and collect initial inventory pictures.
Take photos of used vehicle auction inventory as they arrive at dealership.
Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
Park new and used vehicles in assigned areas.
Catalog and store vehicle keys in key machine.
Organize new and used vehicles lots to keep flow of inventory clean and orderly.
Other tasks as assigned.
