About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, this position is responsible for direct leadership and productivity of assigned Inventory employees, communicating with team members regarding performance, priorities, workload, and deadlines. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of MS Office products: Excel, Word, etc.
  • Forklift certification not required, but encouraged
  • Ability to assess needs and prioritize
  • Ability to communicate effectively and coach the order pullers
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team
  • Accuracy is required, must understand order form and be able to count
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment
  • Must be self-directed & self-motivated
  • Ability to be on your feet 10+ hrs/day

Responsibilities

  • Conducts daily check-ins with team and reports performance to Inventory Supervisor
  • Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor to overcome any team member concerns and performance issues
  • Conduct quarterly performance and yearly increase reviews with employees in conjunction with supervisor
  • Review processes periodically to increase efficiency
  • Understands and utilizes production reports and work orders to organize and manage priorities
  • Assigns daily workflow to specialist staff
  • Works actively with others in the department and company to achieve positive results
  • Ensure team members are appropriately trained in the areas of job responsibility, safety, and company policy
  • Motivate all team members to achieve personal and department success
  • Follows the 6S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety
  • Other duties as assigned, including special projects
