We are seeking an Inventory & Kitting Specialist to support our operations team in Danbury, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, supporting kitting and transfer activities, and coordinating the movement of components to internal teams and contract manufacturing partners. Your work will directly support production efficiency, supplier coordination, and overall operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess inventory levels and anticipate future needs.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and discrepancy prevention.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain orderly and accessible inventory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems and related tools.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely product availability and alignment with business needs.
  • Implement inventory control strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Manage kitting and transfer orders, coordinating the transfer and delivery of components to contract manufacturing partners.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and material flow.
