About The Position

Join Malone in Elk Grove Village, IL as a temp-to-hire Inventory Integrity Analyst and make every count matter. You’ll keep our client’s warehouse data precise and dependable while partnering closely with operations leaders. If you thrive on details, spreadsheets, and solving discrepancies, this role is for you. A day in the role 8:30 AM: You kick off 1st shift by reviewing yesterday’s cycle count results and opening your Excel/Google Sheets tracker. You’ll plan today’s count list based on the ABC schedule set with the Plant/Distribution Manager. Late morning: You complete cycle counts on schedule, investigate any variances between system and physical counts, and document findings. When a non-conforming product shows up, you flag, track, and report it immediately. Afternoon: You reconcile data, maintain count records and daily reports, and update inventory files. As needed, you operate a forklift (with valid certification) to access product locations safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar inventory control role preferred.
• Advanced comfort with Excel/Google Sheets; strong math, computer, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions; communicate clearly with all levels.
• Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities; practical reasoning from written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Team-oriented self-starter who can also work independently.
• Forklift operation when certified.

Responsibilities

• Reliable weekly physical inventories and timely cycle counts that uphold perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Daily updates to detailed Excel/Google Sheets logs and reports.
• Thorough discrepancy research and clear resolution notes.
• Partnership with the Plant/Distribution Manager to assign and follow ABC classifications.
• On-time, procedure-aligned counts and organized, auditable records.
• Accurate tracking and reporting of non-conforming product.
