About The Position

As an Inventory Handler you are responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials to support production work centers and the quality lab. Ensure production and quality have the necessary materials and supplies to manufacture products, administer QA testing and complete production schedules in a timely and efficient manner. SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday | 6:00PM - 4:30AM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Transport QA samples from the production work centers to the QA lab.Perform cycle and inventory counts of raw materials and inventory locations as required.Follow department processes to assure inventory accuracy.Verify established criteria, and supply materials to production work centers.Transport materials or finished products between work centers, or to appropriate storage locations.Complete necessary paperwork per process.Depending on division, may operate forklift or company pickup truck.Participate in production improvement initiatives.Demonstrates the Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions.Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Depending on division, have ability to operate a forklift, pallet mover, and hoist equipment.
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Good organizational skills.
Proficiency with a computer.
Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.

Nice To Haves

Previous production experience is preferred.
