About The Position

Inventory Handlers are responsible for performing site warehousing functions that support the overall manufacturing operations and other customer-related activities. They must understand and follow Plexus quality and safety policy guidelines, customer specifications, and adhere to regulatory compliance. The role requires the ability to work independently without supervision and escalate information as necessary to leaders to have urgent and important tasks addressed. Inventory Handlers should quickly adapt to change, be proficient in priority management and decision making, and support continuous improvement initiatives while actively participating in improving the work environment.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self motivated.
  • Ability to interpret, receive direction and apply both written and oral communication.
  • Flexible to quickly adapt to learning new tasks, moving to new areas to meet changing customer demands.
  • Demonstrated competencies in teamwork, professional demeanor, quality, job knowledge, communication, problem solving and lean principles, flexibility, attendance and timeliness.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, bar code scanners, etc.
  • Ability to alternate or be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, reach, push, pull up to 45 pounds as required.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required for assigned area.
