About The Position

The position is responsible for ensuring that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible, enabling the Order Processing Department to efficiently pull a high volume of items in the shortest possible time. The essential job functions include bin maintenance, updating item statuses, replenishing bins, maintaining communication with various departments, locating and researching items with incorrect information, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to endure extreme temperatures and lift and move boxes of up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and be in motion at all times.
  • Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise.
  • Ability to learn Something Inked products.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Experience in receiving, fulfillment, and/or quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for bin maintenance.
  • Rearrange bins to provide additional space for new items.
  • Update bins to indicate change in status of item (stock item vs. non-stock).
  • Cube or re-cube items and locations.
  • Replenish bins from the suggested move report.
  • Maintain consistent communication with various departments regarding new items, change of brand names, change of location, count, etc.
  • Locate and research items that may have incorrect locations, stock number or pulling/receiving errors.
  • Maintain and update location audit report daily.
  • Maintain special item area.
  • Review weekly added and deleted items report.
  • Complete immediate and cycle counts for inventory control.
  • Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues.
  • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform job functions with consistency and regularity, minimizing quality issues or damages.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
