About The Position

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire an Inventory Control Resource for a food-grade distribution warehouse located in Lithia Springs! MUST HAVE CROWN STAND UP, CHERRY PICKER,CYCLE COUNTING,INVENTORY EXPERIENCE Qualifications for Forklift Operators: After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Must have cycle counting and cherry picking experience. Must have RF Scan Gun experience Minimum 2 years stand up forklift experience, will be tested at the WH Must be familiar with the WMS/IBM System Food Grade experience is preferred but not required Must be able to work in fast pace environment Must be open to 12 hour shifts and occasional extra hours Must be open to occasional weekends Assignment Duties for Forklift Operators : - Analyze and summarize numerical information and critically examine for accuracy. - Input and access inventory data through a computerized maintenance management information system. Utilize computer to troubleshoot records for inventory control. - Perform administrative functions such as typing, filing, and maintaining detailed records. - Checks the accuracy of computer printouts, reports, and calculations. Ensures that work is carried out to specification. - Compile, classify, collate, and organize information. Maintains electronic, paper records and reports. Maintains inventory control - Ensure coordination of activities to meet department objectives. - Provide clear spoken and written information to leads, supervisors and managers regarding the status of situations or orders. Answer inquiries about the maintenance/inventory management system or procedures. - Cooperate with peers, leads, supervisors and managers, and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies. Shift Details :FRIDAY-MONDAY – 7:00 AM -5:00PM Pay Rate : $17.00/hour Benefits : Full time. Weekly pay via Direct Deposit or ATM Card. Paid vacations and holidays.
