Requirements

• Basic English fluency required
• Must be able to work legally in US and possess a clean driving record & valid driver's license
• Have the ability to drive vans, and preferably a Isuzu NRR (14') Box Truck
• Must be familiar with NYC traffic patterns and traffic laws
• Must have experience in a commercial delivery role
• Must be available to work shifts that fall between the hours of 8:00AM and 11:00PM every day of the week, depending on scheduling
• Able to work in various stations with various equipment, which all require the use of all limbs and the ability to see at close distance
• Ability to maintain punctual attendance per company policy consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Able to lift and move 50 pounds
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Able to work fast/expeditiously

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack, and load inventory (food, paper products, etc., according to stores' purchase orders) for delivery from our Central Kitchen to our stores around NYC (not to individual customers)
• Safely and expeditiously deliver inventory to our stores using a company vehicle, and properly stow away along with store staff
• Retrieve used/soiled containers from the stores into the vehicle, and then unload such containers off the vehicle at Central Kitchen for cleaning/disposal
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
• Assist with tasks around the Central Kitchen as necessary and as directed when not on delivery runs, such as moving received inventory into appropriate storage areas, helping with packaging food, etc.
