About The Position

The Inventory Cycle Counter plays a crucial role in managing inventory tasks within the Retail Distribution Center (DC). This position requires effective communication with production employees and management, as well as proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office. The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting cycle counts, reporting physical counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports and operating instructions.
• Mathematical skills for basic calculations and ratios.
• Problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with production employees and management.
• Perform data input for inventory physical counts.
• Request cycle count item lists for weekly audits.
• Conduct weekly inventory reporting and reconciliation.
• Perform daily cycle counts against booked inventory.
• Review backlog to check for inventory shortages.
• Maintain a working relationship with the Central Receiving Manager and Divisional Inventory Team.
• Ensure a safe work environment and high morale within the plant.
• Keep management informed about issues affecting production operations.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
