The Cycle Counter/Material Handler is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, performing cycle count duties, and storing and moving material to ensure accurate inventory control. This position reports to the Warehouse department but will take daily direction from the Material Control Lead.

Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
Ensure materials are in proper locations and conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory
Perform daily cycle counts
Organize and clean as material is being counted
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
Monitor that FIFO is being practiced
Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
Consolidate multiple SAP bin locations and maintain the ERP default bins
Research inventory discrepancies
Investigate the root cause of inventory discrepancies
Recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Work with Warehouse and Inventory Control Management to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
Loading, unloading, identifying, labeling, and putting away of inbound material
Pick, pull, and distribute material to appropriate warehouse locations to support manufacturing and order fulfillment

Excellent communication and organizational skills
Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required
Proficient with basic math

2+ years’ work experience as a cycle counter (preferred)
Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
Forklift experience, picker
Prior warehouse/inventory experience
SAP WM/MRP/ERP system (preferred)

Hourly Rate: $19 - $22
