About The Position

DCI Donor Services is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives! Our mission at DCI Donor Services is to save lives through organ donation and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work! We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator that will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring materials and components are available to support production schedules, and managing purchasing activities for assigned commodities or vendors. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year purchasing and ERP experience.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support production demands while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
  • Perform regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to track material usage and availability.
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze trends to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory turnover.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
  • Issue purchase orders, confirm order acknowledgments, and follow up on delivery schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and inventory data in ERP/BTM systems.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining reorder points, lead times, and safety stock parameters.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Support lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align materials planning with production and sales forecasts.
  • Partners with Quality and Purchasing departments to onboard new suppliers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
