The primary responsibility of the employee is to perform his or her duties in a safe manner in order to prevent injury to themselves and others. Employees must demonstrate an active role in maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment to minimize the risk of product contamination. Food safety involves working to standards that are set by the company to protect the consumer.

Requirements

  • Experience as an inventory coordinator in a warehouse/distribution environment
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Strong written, organization and verbal communications skills
  • Computer Literate: Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage time to meet targets and deadlines
  • Must have strong Mathematical skills

Nice To Haves

  • ERP/WMS experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • High energy individual with ability to obtain inventory goals provided by management
  • Day to Day responsibilities include reviewing, managing, and correcting inventory to maintain an accurate inventory
  • Perform daily cycle counts based on need and schedule
  • Perform spot counts and inventory validation requests from different sources of the business
  • Verify all returns for accuracy
  • Verify all stage lanes to ensure all transactions completed
  • Verify and process all ingredient/packaging Disposition transactions
  • Manage non-conforming inventory through Disposal or segregation
  • Any other inventory related requests
  • Responsible for daily job closing and accuracy
  • Assist with receiving, transfer, and production supply if needed
  • Periodically responsible for scheduling appointments and properly communicating to appropriate parties all changes or no shows
  • Contribute to the overall team effort to accomplish assigned tasks, projects and goals
  • Communicate with Leads/Supervisors and staff regarding incorrect or incomplete information
  • Communicate with vendors and carriers in a respectful manner to represent our organization with a professional image both on the telephone and in person
