About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator supports daily inventory operations by supporting warehouse receiving team with Reverse Logistics inbound transactions, executing standard transactions, troubleshooting failed transactions for root cause, suggesting resolution to root cause, maintaining accurate records, and following established procedures.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or related operations
  • Basic understanding of inventory concepts (receiving, issuing, counting)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic Excel skills (sorting, filtering, simple formulas)
  • Ability to follow structured processes and written instructions
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with supervision
  • Experience using inventory systems or ERP platforms - Oracle preferred
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and system-generated reports
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable
  • Receptive to coaching and feedback
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Demonstrates curiosity and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to cycle counting or physical inventory processes
  • Experience supporting field service, repair, or distribution environment
  • Familiarity with returns, cores, or reverse logistics processes

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic ERP inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities
  • Investigate and document reverse logistics variances for review
  • Enter and maintain inventory data in the ERP and/or inventory management system
  • Update transaction notes and supporting documentation to maintain audit trails
  • Run basic reports to support inventory reviews and reconciliations
  • Assist with shipment tracking
  • Support returns processing including cores, DOA, and excess material
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal teams
  • Follow documented SOPs and work instructions consistently
  • Escalate issues, discrepancies, or exceptions per defined procedures
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Identify process gaps or recurring issues and make suggestions for improvements to department and warehouse leadership
  • Participate in training and cross-functional learning opportunities
  • Demonstrate steady progression in system knowledge and process ownership
