The individual will issue purchase orders, assist with quality issues that may result in returns to vendors, and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock. Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information is essential. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align purchasing strategies, monitoring supplier performance, and addressing any issues related to quality or delivery. Additionally, the individual will utilize procurement management software to streamline purchasing processes, research inventory discrepancies with Finance, and communicate with scheduling and production regarding any issues with materials. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
