About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Inventory Coordinator - Shipping/Receiving - 1st Shift to join our team. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. The core hours are 7AM - 3:30PM Mon-Fri. Why work at Eaton? What you’ll do: Communicates effectively with cross functional departments to resolve and correct inventory issues. Coordinates and initiates Kanban Rack audits within the facility that supports Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and continuous improvement through participation and teamwork. Coordinates team’s daily tasks and activities and works closely with Production, and the entire SCM team to ensure successful and timely replenishment of KB inventories. Process all rack audit sheets, distribute to rack auditors and report results daily and serves as a resource on the AS400 system and serve as expert on team. Responsible for preparing monthly reporting of audits completed and reporting out on trends and provide feedback to the planners and buyers so as to support the replenishment of parts. Accountable for performing inventory transactions based on in depth analysis of receipts and disbursements. Coordinates and provide support for the production teams with the timeliness of replenishments daily, Communicates and coordinates all related inventory to the appropriate stake holders as necessary.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 miles) will be considered for this position

  • Must be familiar with AS400 inventory transactions, documents.
  • Basic Computer Skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communications
  • Ability to follow procedures and written instructions.
  • Ability to focus on the task at hand and work under the stress of deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a material and inventory environment including order selection, packing and receiving processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Must be able to frequently stand and bend and not afraid of heights.
  • Must have good visual acuity.
  • Work experience in leading and coordinating team activities and tasks.
  • Knowledge of SAP, inventory systems is a plus
