Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal customers and external vendors
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Proactive in nature with strong problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3+ years of Operations or warehouse related work experience
  • Extremely strong attention to detail and organization
  • Working level proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Comfort with technology and learning new software applications
  • Physically able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize and organize competing tasks or demands that may be deadline driven
  • A flexible disposition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing a variety of operational need

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience
  • Associate degree in warehouse management or equivalent experience
  • Experience and/or interest in photography
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics
  • Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service to support internal partners throughout the year
  • Support field teams with equipment troubleshooting calls and shipping inquiries during photo season
  • Provide prompt and professional service to outside vendors and actively assist with any issues
  • Work closely with the Sr. Operations Manager and Operations & Equipment Specialist to fulfill daily business operations
  • Distribute required items to JPIX field employees to ensure the success of seasonal school photo days
  • Prepare field requests and prioritize safe shipping and receiving of equipment during peak season
  • Ensure that equipment is received, stored, and shipped in a timely manner while maintaining an organized inventory tracking system
  • Perform equipment testing and execute successful health checks on all equipment returned at the end of each photo season
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping, organization, and equipment functionality
  • Perform periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy of database information
  • Use warehouse power equipment to complete tasks i.e. forklift, baler, scissor lift, etc.
