About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator at Sunshine Ace Hardware is responsible for overseeing store-level inventory performance, ensuring accurate inventory adjustments, and implementing best practices to minimize shrinkage and manage obsolete inventory. This role involves training staff on inventory management and collaborating with store management to optimize inventory processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of inventory control experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use computer and related software, RF guns, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to train other members of the staff to keep inventory accurate.
• Possess analytical abilities needed to investigate/audit and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Knowledge and experience of all categories and product lines within all departments.
• Experience with purchasing & inventory systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships within and throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for store-level analysis of inventory performance.
• Make timely and accurate inventory adjustments.
• Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage in the store.
• Assist in identifying obsolete inventory and recommend methods to sell, clearance, or liquidate.
• Train store staff on inventory management best practices.
