This is a terrific opportunity to join the Caterpillar North Little Rock, AR team as an Inventory Control Clerk II on our 1st shift team earning day ONE benefits and a starting wage of $21.15/hour. As an Inventory Control Clerk II earning $21.15 an hour, you will provide direct support to the operations team with the goal of making sure material is available to support the daily build. Other activities that support logistics flow are also part of the responsibility of a Point of Use (POU) Inventory Coordinator. Pay Rate and Schedule: The position includes a wage of $21.15/hour and a comprehensive benefit program! Openings available on 1st shift: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m . Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization.

Requirements

  • Resume
  • 1+ years Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality or Supply Chain Experience
  • History of strong attendance
  • Positive Attitude
  • Willingness and ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to various operations.
  • Willingness and ability to lift to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in SAP and Power BI reports
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office, Excel

Responsibilities

  • Handle freight payments
  • Handle BOL documentation and filing for compliance reasons
  • Resolve invoicing grief when necessary
  • Document and maintain OS&D discrepancies and communicate with carriers/vendors for resolution
  • Track yard storage racks for inventory and collaborate with shipping clerks when shipments are ready
  • Verify shipment accuracy against bills of lading and purchase orders as well as adherence to truck schedule
  • Liaison between receiving dock and supply chain on part shipments
