About The Position

The Inventory Control ensures physical inventory is reflected accurately systematically and that procedures for handling of products are adhered to by performing the necessary duties that meet or exceed company requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver License and clean driving record
  • Ability to demonstrate an excellent eye for detail with Inventory Control experience desirable
  • Strong math skills with problem solving abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred; Access, Excel, Outlook, Share Point and Word
  • Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JD Edwards and Red Prairie WMS a plus

Responsibilities

  • Completion of system cycle counts and count audits to monitor the adherence of handling procedures, identifying root cause of issues through investigation and communication to necessary parties
  • Processing of returned goods and unidentified products to ensure they meet quality standards and have the proper inventory status for appropriate disposition
  • Completion of process audits to monitor the adherence of handling procedures and investigation to root cause and communicate to necessary parties
  • Completion of system reports and applications to maintain data integrity for proper operation of Red Prairie, WMS, JDE and BI
  • Work with Warehouse and Quality for the proper handling of Hold and Rework products to ensure adequate and timely disposition
  • Manage flow of product inventories and statuses to ensure maximum efficiency and rotation
  • Use radio frequency equipment to transact materials as part of the located inventory system
  • Physically rotates finished good product to ensure proper aging
  • Utilizes Red Prairie, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to load outgoing orders onto customer trailers
  • Unloads, transports, and stores incoming materials/finished goods using WMS
  • Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and guidelines
  • Conducts daily inspections of assigned equipment
  • Responsible for QA audits
  • Other duties as assigned
